| Biography |
Sri Kaushik Pavani is a PhD candidate in Computer Science and Visual Communication in Universitat Pompeu Fabra,
Barcelona. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Texas Tech University in 2003, and the B.E.
degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Shanmugha College of Engineering, India in 2001. His
current work is mainly focused on the development and implementation of object detection systems for access control
and monitoring in intelligent environments. His research interests include statistical learning, pattern recognition, and
mathematical modeling. |
